  Get Your Space At Farragut State Park:

Reserved Campgrounds:

Nighthawk Sites 176-198:

The Nighthawk sites are exclusively reserved for this event.  It is one in a cluster of three sites in the Waldron campground area.  These sites have both water and electric available if you choose to use it.  If the attendance is higher, the adjacent Redtail campground sites will be available as well as the Kestrel sites.  The Redtail and Kestrel sites may be shared with other non-feast campers that may be staying in the park during this time.  You are encouraged to stay next to other campers that are attending the feast for a sense of community.

There are three cabins available in this area.  There is one in each of the camps; Nighthawk, Redtail and Kestrel.  Please do not book a cabin unless you are elderly or handicapped.  We want to leave them open for those who really have a need.  If you do need a cabin, please contact Farragut State park directly and book it soon.

  FEES:

Sites are $16 a day plus tax, AND an entry fee of $4 a day.  The daily cost for your stay will be $20 per day.  If you have an “Annual Pass” for the state parks, your entry fee is waived. The cost of the “Annual Pass” is $25 and it may be worth purchasing if you are staying more than 6 days.  Please inquire with the park.

Cabins are $35 a day plus tax, AND an entry fee of $4 a day.  The daily cost for your stay will be $39 per day.  If you have an “Annual Pass” for the state parks, your entry fee is waived. The cost of the “Annual Pass” is $25 and it may be worth purchasing if you are staying more than 6 days.  Please inquire with the park.

  Thimbleberry Group Camp:

This campsite is not reserved, but it will be available if you are bringing a milk goat for care.  Horse stables can be used if you bring your own portable fencing.  Please keep the fencing to a reasonably small size such as 5’ x 5’ or 10’ x 10’.  This is included in your campsite fee if you are bringing your milk goat.  Please be sure to limit your milk goat to one or two per family, and please bring your own feed, water pails and clean-up shovels.  You may either leave your milk goat fenced in and/or camp at the Waldron campsites or near your goat at Thimbleberry.  There is no water and electric at Thimbleberry but it is only a 10 minute walk away from Nighthawk.

Registration Information:

Campsite reservations are not required.  Campsites will be assigned on a first come first served basis.  When you arrive, please go to the Visitor Center during open hours, bring the number of your selected site, vehicle registration number and payment.  We expect plenty of space to be available in the Waldron campground area.  However, the Nighthawk sites will be limited.  RSVP: please notify Admin@BethLechem.org or call 208-610-5833 if you plan on attending the Feast.

Scripture commands us to be at the feast for the full duration, however, based on your circumstances, you may stay for any duration of time.  If you plan on staying for the full duration, be sure to arrive early to get your site secured in the Nighthawk sites.

  Reserved Pavilion(s):

One pavilion is reserved in the Nighthawk campground.  It can accommodate about 40 people.  If there is a larger attendance and additional financial support is received from those attending the feast, we will be able to reserve a second pavilion in the Kestrel campground, otherwise it will be available on a first come first serve basis.  Depending on our resources, we may equip the pavilion with propane heat lamps and cover the sides using canvas or tarp using rope for adverse weather.

  Cabin Tents:

Cabin tents with wood stoves are not allowed with the exception of a couple that will be set up for group use.  You may however, set-up a cabin tent on your site, but the park will not allow the wood stove.  However, electricity is available at each site for heaters.  There will be a designated spot in the Waldron area campgrounds for this type of set-up.

Based on availability of resources, a large pavilion type cabin tent may be set up for group gatherings near a designated spot at the Nighthawk campground area.

  Quiet Hours:

For the respect of fellow campers, quiet hours are from 10:00 pm through 7:00 am.
